The World Information Architecture Day in Zurich (WIAD 2017) is one of those UX events I try not to miss out. The reasons lie in sympathy that binds me to the organisers, the stature of the speakers and the beauty of the Swiss location. What took place on Saturday, February 18, 2017, met all my expectations. A UX Designer joining a “Front-End” conference is like a motorbike rider joining a gathering of bike riders. Both the motorcyclist and the cyclist wish to drive a handy and fancy vehicle which is also safe during the bends and stable when braking. What I bring home from the front-end conference in 2016 in Zurich is a strong feeling that developers, designers, project managers and unicorns chase each other in order to design and implement a smooth and frictionless user experience.

What happened at the UX Camp 2016 Zurich, what I learned, what I discovered and all my takeovers. Attending the Zurich UX Camp is always a great experience. Because the people that attend are so inspired and excited to be part of the event. Because the organisation is able to make you feel comfortable within a warm context. Because the venue is awesome and food is great!

Design Journey – Leaving Ricardo AG

New year, new job and new User eXperience challenges.
Yesterday was my last day at Ricardo AG. In the last couple of years my colleagues and I worked to design the user experience for the responsive version of ricardo.ch and autoricardo.ch. My role was leading this project in terms of UX. Was a great chance and a massive collection of challenges.
