WORLD INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE DAY 2017 (WIAD) – ZURICH

The World Information Architecture Day in Zurich (WIAD 2017) is one of those UX events I try not to miss out on. The reasons lie in sympathy that binds me to the organisers, the stature of the speakers and the beauty of the Swiss location. What occurred on Saturday, February 18, 2017, met all my expectations. Here is a summary of the talks that caught my attention and that left me with the desire to investigate further on some topics:

FRONT-END CONFERENCE 2016 – ZURICH

A UX Designer joining a “Front-End” conference is like a motorbike rider joining a gathering of bike riders. Both the motorcyclist and the cyclist wish to drive a handy and fancy vehicle that is also safe during bends and stable when braking. What I brought home from the front-end conference in 2016 in Zurich is a strong feeling that developers, designers, project managers, and unicorns chase each other to design and implement a smooth and frictionless user experience.

UX CAMP 2016 ZURICH, MY TAKEOVERS

I attended the UX Camp in Zurich and will share what I learned and discovered and all my takeovers. In the next few paragraphs, I’ll share my perspective on the value of attending design conferences and highlight how attending conferences can unlock business value.
